Text reads (in English translation) “For a hard-working and industrious student, this picture, which testifies to that, was made for her by her teacher in the year of our Lord, 1844.” Measures approximately 13 ¼ X 15 ¼ inches unframed and 17 ¼ X 19 ¼ inches framed.
